Leeds Castle
Rising from two islands in the centre of a lake, Leeds Castle in Kent is known as “The Loveliest Castle in the World”. Long established as a premier venue for residential conferences and banquets, Leeds Castle has now opened its gates to Asian Weddings. A royal residence in medieval times, the delightful rooms are now available for your wedding ceremony. Overnight accommodation is also available in the main Castle.
The Cedar Lawn
This dedicated marquee site is situated directly in front of the castle itself. A specially levelled area with ample parking a short distance away. The site offers breathtaking views of the castle and the tranquil waters of the moat. For evening functions the Castle walls can be floodlit to magnificent effect, a sight that will long remain in your guests’ memories. Receptions and Indian ceremonies of any size can be accommodated.
The Gate House
The oldest part of the castle is available for civil ceremonies with its own private reception area, bar and cloakroom. It overlooks a beautiful circular croquet lawn with excellent views of the castle, a perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.
The Dining Room
Provides a romantic setting for a civil ceremony for up to 100 guests. Light and airy décor is complimented by the 18th century tapestries which adorn the walls.
The Henry Viii Banqueting Hall
With its heavily beamed ceiling and 16th Century French carved fireplace, this majestic room can seat up to 100 guests for dining.
The Fair Fax Hall
With its built-in sound system and separate bar the Fairfax Hall can seat up to 170 guests. It can be used in conjunction with the Terrace Room to create a truly splendid setting.
